Proposed house extension at Clermiston Road, Edinburgh.

The existing Lodge House at Clermiston Road, dating back to the original Clermiston Estate has previously been extended but the new owners wish to modernise these dated additions. We propose to take down the existing flat roofed part of the house and build a new split level two storey wing taking advantage of both the slope in the site and the views from the top of Clermiston Hill. The new wing provides a new kitchen and bathroom at the lower level and a new master bedroom with ensuite shower room at the upper level.
